Four changes – Man Utd’s probable 4-2-3-1 XI vs Chelsea

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Man Utd boss

Manchester United earned all three points vs Norwich City in the Premier League at the weekend and next up, they will collide against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night.

The Blues were thrashed 4-0 at Old Trafford in their opening PL game of the current campaign but at the moment, they are flying high.

Since losing to Liverpool, Frank Lampard’s men have won seven games in all competitions and in all fairness, they should hold stronger cards at the Bridge vs Man Utd.

As far as Solskjaer’s team news is concerned, we can expect a few changes in the squad that started vs the Canaries on Sunday.

In the goal, Sergio Romero might return to replace De Gea in the starting XI. In front of the Argentine shot stopper, the likes of Rojo and Williams could replace Lindelof and Young in the defense.

With Pogba and Matic still out, McTominay and Fred should retain their places in the center of the park for the Red Devils.

As far as the attack is concerned, Martial should be rested and Rashford should start in the CF role. Mata could return to start on the right wing.

  1. Man Utd should be focused and call a spade a spade. Targeting every player in the world, yet don’t buy any is huge sign of mediocrity. They should be consistent with rationality.
