Man Utd: Ivan Perisic is Now Top Priority — Talks over move for 24-year-old dismissed

Manchester United have dismissed talks over a move for Paris Saint-Germain full-back Serge Aurier this summer. The Red Devils were recently said to have agreed on a £27m deal with Les Parisiens despite the player restricted from travelling to the United Kingdom.

According to Sky Sport News, United are not in the hunt for the wantaway star, and any new signings would be dependent on the sale of fringe players. The likes of Ashley Young and Marouane Fellaini have been linked with proposed moves away from Old Trafford this summer, but Jose Mourinho is rather keen to keep hold of both as they are well capable of putting in good performances.

Mourinho got his wish for a new central midfielder earlier this week with Nemanja Matic having joined from Chelsea, and the priority is now on signing a new attacker with Ivan Perisic topping the wishlist. Inter Milan are reluctant to part ways with their winger for anything less than £48m unless they are offered Anthony Martial on a season-long loan.

Manchester United take on Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup in Skopje next week, and it looks highly unlikely that there will be any further transfer activity during the period.
