Transfer: Star ready to arrive for medical to secure £62.6million move to Man Utd – Report

On July 25th Corriere Dello Sport reported that the Old Trafford club are in talks with Lazio, who want 100 million euros for their prized asset.

Most recently, yesterday, Corriere Dello Sport came up with a major update and stated that as far as the terms of contract between Milinkovic-Savic and Man United are concerned, a full agreement has been reached.

The Italian source have mentioned that the player has agreed a five year deal (worth £27million till 2024) that will make him earn £5.4million annually i.e around £104,000-a-week.

As far as the price is concerned, CdS have stated that the agreement on bonuses is still missing and Serie A side’s president, Lotito, would like to get a total fee of 90 million euros from the sale of of the midfielder.

So far, United have strengthened their attack and defense this summer and they should reinforce the midfield before the transfer window closes next month.

United have not replaced Ander Herrera as yet. Like the Spaniard, Milinkovic-Savic is also a versatile player, who can effectively play in the central as well as the attacking midfield.

The Serbian, 24, is in his peak years and like new signings Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James, he’d be another addition that would be able to serve the Old Trafford club in the long run.

  1. I seriously miss David gill, Woodward is not as smart as David used to be especially concerning transfers..he knows nothing about football and i think it’s high time they appointed a director of football, someone who knows football inside out!

  2. I too miss David Gill. So much time is being wasted here. Can United hierachy do something to avoid this in future. Time is the judge, after all. We need consistency and we need action as well as decisions being made timely

  3. Everyday rumours, when will Woodward be serious with transfer activities, the problem is what David Moyes pointed out, the club is interested in commercial value than glory. How will a reasonable person pay £80m for Migue while you can pay €66m for a better and younger player like Diaz, do you consider how slow miguire is? Woodward please rethink

  4. The way Woodward do things, I don’t think whether man utd can manage man city and Liverpool because he is not quick enough in making transfer decisions that can make impact immediately

  5. Woodward is not taking this transfer serious, why the delay? We just have 9 days before the transfer windows close. What is keeping him from selling lukaku and signing bruno and Harry? Please do the needful, we want to go end next season with sliverwares. Good job for the new players but we need more

  6. I hate to hear this…it hunt more than nightmares:ED WOODWARD and him as a man in charge of man utd transfers

  7. Is Manchester United even going to buy anyone. They are linked or have a in principle agreement with approximately every player in the planet. Waiting to hear rumours of Virat Kohli joining them now coz no football player is left to be linked with Manchester United. Now the list will include Virat Kohli, Rafael Nadal, Usain Bolt, Lewis Hamilton. Fed up with the Manchester United board for delaying moves for Bruno, Savic, Lukaku/ Dybala Swap. They aren’t serious about the clubs future. We fans are being cheated.
