Manchester United attacker ‘happy’ at Old Trafford amid Arsenal interest

French forward Anthony Martial is reportedly ‘happy’ at Manchester United despite the recent speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal. The 21-year-old has been in impressive touch this season, contributing five goals and five assists in all competitions for the Red Devils.

According to The Manchester Evening News, Martial is ready to snub any impending interest from Arsene Wenger’s side and is ‘very content’ at Old Trafford following a strong start to the campaign.

Martial has played second fiddle to Marcus Rashford for the early part of the Premier League season, and he has still been productive with three goals and two assists in six appearances.

The France international recently bagged the club’s Player of the Month accolade for September, and there appears no reason why he would be interested in leaving midway through the season.

Barring the Premier League, Martial has started the games in the League Cup and Champions League, and the packed schedule ahead assures that he will get his chance ahead of Marcus Rashford in the top-flight.

As per ClubCall, United are concerned over a potential burnout for Rashford, and Martial could start on the left wing for Saturday’s early Premier League kickoff versus Liverpool at Anfield.
