Manchester United have confirmed Axel Tuanzebe has joined Aston Villa on loan for the second straight campaign. The youngster previously moved to Villa Park in January this year but he managed just five appearances before sustaining a season-ending ankle injury.

Both Tuanzebe and Timothy Fosu-Mensah were impressive during pre-season and United fans were expecting the duo to play some part for the club during the upcoming campaign.
However, the duo have rather set their sights on regular gametime for the 2018/19 season and Fosu-Mensah should likewise secure a loan exit with Hertha Berlin highlighted as his preferred destination.
With the departure of John Terry, Tuanzebe has the opportunity to gain experience in the central defensive position at Villa this term and hopefully, he manages to go unscathed through the campaign unlike the previous.
Despite Tuanzebe’s exit, there has been some progression in terms of club graduates with midfielder Andreas Pereira getting an opportunity to establish himself during pre-season.
The Brazilian has stood out with his performances in the lead-up to the Premier League opener and he could secure a starting spot versus Leicester City with Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini having just returned to training.
