Rep wants £120,000-a-week star to agree Man United move above all – Report

Adrien Rabiot France

As per latest reports going on in the media, the future of Adrien Rabiot at Juventus is a doubt and he is heavily linked with Manchester United.

Few days back, we covered a report (via Calcio Mercato) claiming that the Red Devils are serious about signing the French international in the summer transfer window.

More recently, La Gazzetta Dello Sport have provided a very positive update for the Old Trafford faithful.

Transfer: Man United pressing for months to sign £53million+ playmaker – Face competition

The renowned Italian outlet have mentioned that Rabiot is returning to Turin but his future remains a mystery.

GdS have claimed that his rep, i.e. his mother Veronique Rabiot, wants her son’s future to be in the Premier League and above all with Man United even though she is in talks with the Toffees as well.

The versatile star won every major domestic prize with PSG before opting to join Juventus on a free transfer last summer. He can play in multiple midfield positions and has the experience to improve the quality and depth of our midfield that has not been strengthened in the past three transfer window.

However, it must be taken into consideration that the 6-capped international has got a track record of being a trouble maker.

Back in 2018, Deschamps opted to keep Rabiot in the reserve squad for France’s World Cup campaign. Furious with the decision, the Les Bleus midfielder decided to reject his role as a reserve and withdrew himself from the list.

Moreover, last season, PSG wanted to agree a new contract with the 25-year-old, but he had other ideas and due to his poor behavioral record, the French champions suspended the midfielder, who did not play a single game in the second half of the campaign.

The former Ligue 1 star’s current contract with Juve will expire in 2023 and he earns around £120,000-a-week (Calcio Mercato). Do you think Solskjaer should move to sign him?

  1. Rabiot i loved him some yrs back but about three yrs back now he has been unstable as a player.may be he wasnt happy on how he has been treated by managers and this could be a reason of him not been at his best.if he is interested in moving to man united he might possibly do well but his moral attitude could be a big trouble.but ole gunnar must weigh up this option to other target before making a financial decision on rabiot

  2. No
..the focus should be on Maddison or Jack Grealish for our midfield (FULLSTOP)

  3. Rabiot is a good player but I don’t think he is the kind of player we need at man utd

    considered his behavior
we don’t want to get a character who is more worst than pogba

besides he was given the opportunity to join man utd when he was a free agent but instead he choose juve over us

now just because he has got the playing time at juve he now want to play for united

our midfield were lacking at the time we needed him he could have been a starting play cause even Fred was not at his best at that time and Herrera was going the other direction
so there were lot of first team. opportunity for him at united instead he went to juve
