Manchester United’s record signing Paul Pogba is linked with a move away from Old Trafford and reports suggest that the Red Devils could replace him with a proven quality midfielder.

According to an exclusive story covered by The Sun, Toni Kroos could sign for Man United this month in a sensational swap deal that would see the French midfielder move to Real Madrid.

Transfer: Man Utd consider move to finally sign £40million midfielder in January – Report

The British source have claimed that the Los Blancos are looking to offload the German international and if United do not buy him, then they will look to sell him elsewhere to fund the signing of Pogba.

Kroos, who turned 30 yesterday, is one of the most complete midfielders in the world. The Kaiser has won all the major titles with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid and has the quality and the experience to improve Man United’s midfield department.

The former Bundesliga star was one of the key members of the German national squad that won the World Cup back in 2014 under the management of Joachim Low.

He has won 4 Champions League titles so far in his career but if he opts to sign for Man United this month, then he would have to take part in the Europa League.

Unfortunately, we have been inconsistent in the league under Solskjaer and really need to step up big time in the second half of the campaign if we are to have any chance of playing in the Europe’s elite competition next season.

Kroos’ current contract with the Spanish giants will expire in 2023 and as per reports (The Mail), he is earning around £200,000-a-week at the Bernabeu.

In your view, should United let Pogba leave to secure the signing of Toni Kroos in the winter transfer window?

  1. The problem that has caused Manchester United’s poor performance is the over aged Edwoodward.many need a new CEO,football director and a coach who has deep love and attitude for the team.manu is not a managers training insutotutes we need winning.Oleg should train under 23 team coz he is not both technical and tactical who’s the best creative midfielder than Pogba if not debryne of mancity so why do need kroos and send pogba away. To my understanding Oleg is a manager who fears having world class players like Pogba because they will reveal his secrets to the public.I even still wounder if there ia any club that would not Pogba according to his unique creativity he has.Maybe to ask why to sell Pogba?and is kroos better than pogba interms of creativity?

  2. Pogba is far much better than Kroos in terms of creativity and pace. Solsjkaer should not allow to sale Pogba, he is one of the best midfielders in the world. I would advise Edwoodward not to sale him. Man united is a big club but Solsjkaer s lack of tactical skills is causing the club s poor performance.

  3. Yes..!! We need a man who can fight for the team and not otherwise.. kroos can..!! We do like forcing Pogba playing for United we better let him go… Pogba is after himself more than club success..

  4. The problem of man united is the current coach. Let us be honest. The sooner you replace him the better. We are tired. You take too long to do so at your own peril.

  5. Pogba should stay. Kroos age makes him not fit for the English premier league.

  6. guys ole has emphasized that pogba will stay since last summer but pogba has been insisting he wants to go and as a coach I think it annoying coaching a player that does not want to play for you or the club and his agent is making things worse for ole so if he goes is not bad but using another schweinsteiger(kroos) to replace him is bad if he want to go badly he should go but man utd shld invest the money well
