Manchester United weren’t convincing in Lisbon. However, they managed to get three important points and are at the top of the group A with nine points in three matches. Marcus Rashford’s unbelievable goal had put United up front in the 64th minute, and the Red Devils kept the clean sheet with authority for the remainder of the tilt.
However, the peculiar goal came as a result of a poor judgment from the young goalkeeper Mile Svilar, who entered his goal with the ball in hands. It was a rather embarrassing situation for the Belgian in his first ever game in the Champions League and undoubtedly, he’ll remember this moment forever.

One Twitter user even compared this situation with the famous Ronaldinho’s screamer against David Seaman at the WC 2002:
Marcus Rashford just gave Mile Svilar the "Ronaldinho vs David Seaman World Cup 2002"-experience. Sorta, not really, but kinda.

Marcus Rashford was substituted in the 76th minute and it appears that he sustained a slight injury, so we will surely hear more about this in the coming hours. Still, according to WhoScored.com, the Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic won the MOTM award with an outstanding performance:
