According to reports from the Daily Mirror, Borussia Dortmund are keen on acquiring the services of Manchester United attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan during the January transfer window.
Mkhitaryan started off the current Premier League campaign in sensational fashion by grabbing 5 assists in the first three matches of the season and it was believed at the time that the Armenian international would finally go on to prove his worth at Old Trafford following an underwhelming campaign last term.
Unfortunately though, Mkhitaryan has not been able to maintain his fine early season form over the last two months or so and as a result, the 28-year-old has seen himself being used for only 19 minutes of action over the past four Premier League matches.
In addition, manager Jose Mourinho has not shied away from criticizing Mkhitaryan publicly for his poor displays in recent times and this has led to speculation that the attacker could well be offloaded by the Red Devils.
Now to further add fuel to the speculation, the Daily Mirror have carried out reports claiming that Mkhitaryan is currently being watched by his former side Borussia Dortmund and the German side are said to be open to bringing back the ex- Shakhtar man to the Signal Iduna Park in January.
