Napoli superstar Marek Hamsik had admitted that he would find it hard to snub to a move to Manchester United. The 30-year-old has notched over 450 appearances for the Serie A outfit while snubbing interest from the likes of Juventus and AC Milan along the way.
The Slovakia international is regarded as one of the finest attackers in Europe, and he has established himself as a key figure at Naples over the years with 114 goals and 108 assists across all competitions.
In an interview with German outlet Kicker h/t Metro, the playmaker was asked how he would react to future interest from Manchester United, to which he replied: “That’s hard to say. It would surely be the hardest decision in my career. Maybe everyone wants to play at these clubs, but I can’t answer that. I think that Napoli is one of the top ten European teams in terms of gameplay and performance.”
Hamsik has featured in central and attacking midfield roles during his decade-long stay in Naples. He is currently on the wrong side of 30 which probably rules out a move to Old Trafford unless Jose Mourinho has him on his radar.
Mourinho has recently suggested that he would require another summer transfer window in order to transform United into potential challengers for both domestic and European glory.
