Manchester United pushed hard to sign Jadon Sancho last summer but they not only failed to lure him but also failed to secure an alternative.
The England international is still heavily linked with the Red Devils, who reportedly believe that his signing can be done for cheap next summer.
Transfer: Report – Man Utd can get signing done for £71.6million
According to an exclusive story covered by 90min, Man Utd remain keen on signing the Three Lions star and are confident that a reduced fee of under £100million can be agreed to seal his signing.
The media outlet have reported that Sancho wanted to move to Old Trafford last summer and even now, he is eager to secure the move. The 20-time English champions do not want to drag the transfer saga like last summer and therefore, an early deal is being eyed.
Sancho had a fantastic first season with Borussia Dortmund, who opted to hand him a bumper new deal worth £190,000-a-week in 2019 (The Mail).
Last season, the 20-year-old upped his game and proved to be one of the best young players in the world. He directly contributed in 40 goals in all competitions.
As far as this season is concerned, so far, the 18-capped international has netted 5 goals and provided 9 assists in 20 appearances. Earlier in the day, he scored his first league goal in the 2-0 victory over Wolfsburg.
Still, 90min claim that Man Utd are not concerned that his form has dipped this term and are serious about getting his signing done. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming months.
