Manchester United have more than a few injury concerns and key attackers like Martial and Lingard have been out recently.
In the absence of the above mentioned duo, the Red Devils lack quality and depth up front and therefore, the club must splash the cash to strengthen the offense in the summer transfer window.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then United are linked with Ivorian international and Lille star Nicolas Pepe.

According to an exclusive story covered by French outlet Telefoot, the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, PSG and Bayern Munich are interested in signing the African star.
The French outlet have mentioned that the Ligue 1 club is waiting for the right project to decide the player’s future and they would demand a starting price of €80million (£69million).
Pepe is a left footed winger, who naturally plays on the right wing. This season, the 25-year-old has been in sensational form and therefore, it is not surprising that top European clubs are looking for his signature.
So far, in the current campaign, the former SCO Angers playmaker has featured in 28 games in all competitions for Lille and directly contributed in as many goals (17 goals and 11 assists).
As far as his national record is concerned, in 10 senior appearances, he has so far netted 3 goals for Ivory Coast.
Pepe has what it takes to be a hit in the Premier League and he would largely improve United’s attacking department. The Old Trafford club do not have any pacy right winger apart from Lingard, therefore, they must push to lure the Lille star in the summer transfer window.
