Manchester United have had a very poor Premier League campaign thus far this season but they can turn a dire campaign into a successful one by winning a cup competition at the end of this season.

The FA Cup and the Europa League are the two possible options for the Red Devils and they will welcome Leicester City at Old Trafford in the fourth round of the world’s oldest competition tonight.

As per team news, Mason Mount and Jonny Evans have been out injured in recent times and aren’t close to returning yet. Luke Shaw started training with the first-team after recovering from his issue but has now picked up a fresh problem and as a result, he will remain sidelined for a few more weeks.

Moreover, Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton have injury problems so they are also set to miss out on this fixture. Lisandro Martínez sustained a serious knee issue last weekend vs Crystal Palace so his season is over.

Expected Man Utd line-up vs Leicester

Bayindir has been playing in the cup competitions but amid his absence, Andre Onana is set to be between the sticks. Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro are expected to be the back three for the Red Devils, while new signing Patrick Dorgu could make his debut and start in the LWB position.

Amad Diallo might be on the opposite flank, therefore, Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot would have to make do with a place on the bench.

Bruno Fernandes is likely to be paired up with Manuel Ugarte in the engine room with Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho set to be the two CAM.

Joshua Zirkzee may get the nod to start in the centre-forward position ahead of Rasmus Hojlund. Here’s the line-up:
