4-2-3-1: Man United’s strongest possible XI vs Chelsea

Bruno Fernandes Trains Man Utd

Manchester United and Chelsea have failed to win in their last three PL outings and the two teams will collide against each other on Monday night.

The Red Devils have already defeated the Blues twice in the current campaign. Who will come out on top this time around?

Transfer: £190,000-a-week star ready to secure Manchester United move – Report

Chelsea are currently in 4th place, six points above the Old Trafford club but with Man City banned from the next two Champions League campaigns (for now), the 5th placed team could end up playing in the Europe’s elite tournament.

Nevertheless, as far as the team news is concerned, Solskjaer has confirmed that Ighalo will travel with the squad to London but the Nigerian has not trained with the team and therefore, he is not ready to face the Stamford Bridge outfit.

In such a scenario, we can expect Martial to once again start in the lone center forward role up front.

Behind the French international, the likes of Mata and James might start in the wide attacking positions and winter signing Bruno Fernandes should start in the No. 10 role. In the midfield, Brazilian duo of Pereira and Fred could start.

As far as the defense is concerned, Wan-Bisska and Shaw should start in the fullback positions and the likes of Maguire and Lindelof could start in the central defense in front of Spanish shot stopper De Gea.

Here is Man Utd’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Chelsea:
