As far as the team news is concerned, Ronaldo scored a hat-trick at the weekend and remains our main threat up front. So, he must start as the lone center forward.

Behind the Portuguese superstar, the likes of Sancho, Fernandes and Elanga could retain their starting positions in the attacking midfield.

Man Utd need to be rock solid at the back to have any chance of earning anything against Liverpool in their own backyard. Therefore, defensive midfielder, Matic, could replace Lingard to start with Pogba in the center of the park.

As far as the backline is concerned, Rangnick claimed that Varane could be available to face the Reds and we surely need the experienced Frenchman in the defense.

The former Real Madrid man could return and replace Lindelof to partner captain, Harry Maguire, in the central defense. De Gea should retain his place in the goal and the Dalot and Telles would likely start in the fullback positions again.
