4-2-3-1: Man Utd’s strongest possible XI against Arsenal

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

After the horrific 6-1 defeat vs Spurs, Manchester United have bounced back and will look to continue the winning run when they face Arsenal tomorrow.

The Red Devils ripped Leipzig apart in the midweek UCL contest. The German club that reached the last four of the competition last season lost 5-0 at Old Trafford.

As far as the team news is concerned, Solskjaer, for his 100th game in-charge, may make several changes to the side that started in the European Cup tie.

Ivorian defender Eric Bailly and English attacker Jesse Lingard are out with hamstring concerns, on the other hand, summer signing Alex Telles has tested positive for coronavirus, so he will not be able to feature vs the Gunners.

Edinson Cavani has made two substitute appearances for the club and the new signing may get the nod to make his first start. Behind the Uruguayan international, the likes of Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Bruno Fernandes should start in the attack.

As far as the midfield is concerned, Brazilian star Fred could partner record signing Paul Pogba.

With Telles out, Shaw should retain his starting place in the left back role. Wan-Bissaka could start again in the right back position.

In the central defense, skipper Maguire would likely partner Lindelof in front of Spanish shot stopper David De Gea. Here is Man Utd’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Arsenal:
