De Gea has been in decent form lately and the Spanish international should retain his place in the goal. In front of the shot stopper, the Norwegian manager may make only one change to the backline. Brazilian star Alex Telles could return in place of Luke Shaw to start in the left back role.

In the center of the park, the likes of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic may return to replace McTominay and Fred. Donny van de Beek may once again find himself on the bench.

As far as the attack is concerned, Bruno Fernandes must retain his place in the No. 10 role behind the main center forward and Uruguayan striker Cavani should be given the nod to make his first start for the club.

Marcus Rashford should move back to his left wing position and Mason Greenwood could return to start on the right flank. Here is Man Utd’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Leipzig:

  1. I cannot understand why Man.Utd goes after a player that has no desire to play at Man.Utd like Earling Halland. We knew that Jadon Sancho has all along been keenly interested on playing at Man.Utd. It is a matter of talk. Such players will be a waste of time chasing etc. I think some of our old players like Zaha from Crystal Palace etc.
