Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should rest a few players for the game vs the Cottagers keeping in view that United will once again face Liverpool at the weekend. The Norwegian manager could make four changes.

In the backline, Eric Bailly should replace Victor Lindelof to start with skipper Harry Maguire in the central defense. De Gea should retain his place in the goal.

Brazilian international Alex Telles could replace Luke Shaw, who was fantastic vs the Reds at Anfield, in the left back role. On the other hand, Aaron Wan-Bissaka may retain his place as the main right back.

In the center of the park, Paul Pogba could start with Scott McTominay and Fred could be rested.

Mason Greenwood should return to start on the right wing and Marcus Rashford should move back to the left wing position. Bruno Fernandes will likely retain his place in the No. 10 role and Edinson Cavani could return to start as the main center forward up front.
