4-2-3-1: Man Utd’s strongest possible XI vs West Brom

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Man Utd boss

Manchester United defeated Everton 3-1 away from home to earn all three points in their last Premier League fixture.

Next up, the Old Trafford side will collide against West Brom when the league returns this Saturday.

Transfer: Report – Man United could fix deal to sign £54million star in winter – Face competition

The Baggies have not won a single game in the PL this term and therefore, the Red Devils have a great chance to earn their first home win (league) of the season.

As far as the team news is concerned, the likes of Martial and Lindelof suffered injuries on international duty and they might not be fit enough to feature at the weekend.

Star attacker Marcus Rashford has been recovering from a shoulder injury and even he is a doubt for the fixture against West Brom.

We can expect Cavani, who scored his first goal for the club vs Toffees, to get the nod to start as the main striker up front. Behind him, Bruno Fernandes must start in the No.10 role. On the other hand, the likes of Greenwood and James could play in the wide attacking positions.

In the center of the park, Solskjaer should opt to play Scott McTominay with Brazilian international Fred.

As far as the defense is concerned, with Shaw out injured, Telles should return to start in the left back role. Aaron Wan-Bissaka must start in the right back position and the likes of Maguire and Tuanzebe could play in the central defense in front of David De Gea.

Here is Man Utd’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs West Brom:

  1. I love this line up. With this we can win West Brom comfortably.
But I’d have loved Matic to start as he didn’t go for international assignment.
