Manchester United are linked with more than few attacking players and one of them is Donny van de Beek.
According to a story covered by The Star, the Red Devils were interested in Kai Havertz but now, Chelsea have a free run to lure the Bayer Leverkusen star because the Old Trafford club are focusing on capturing the £44million attacking midfielder from Ajax.

Real Madrid were mainly looking to sign the Dutch star but latest reports indicate that the Los Blancos might back off from the move. As per the recent comments made by Ronald De Boer, the 23-year-old star could decide to sign for Manchester United (The Star). The Ajax A1 assistant manager said:
“If Real Madrid again decide not to report themselves at Donny, then I can understand it if he decides to go to Man United instead.”
The Netherlands attacking midfielder had a brilliant campaign last term in which he helped Ajax win the domestic double.
He directly contributed in 30 goals in all competitions and even found the net against top European teams like Juventus and Spurs in the Champions League.
In the 2019-20 season, Ajax were on top of the league table (with superior GD) after 25 fixtures but due to the coronavirus outbreak, the campaign was cancelled without any winner.
Van de Beek netted 10 goals and provided 11 assists (2019-20) in 37 appearances (all competitions) under Erik ten Hag before the conclusion of the season.
We already have a top quality central attacking midfielder in the form of Bruno Fernandes, so we do not need to spend heavily to sign another CAM.
However, Solskjaer does need to strengthen the central midfield and the good thing is that the 9-capped Dutch international can effectively play in the CM role as well. In your opinion, should the Norwegian manager offer £44million to sign Donny van de Beek in the summer?
