Manchester United seem serious about signing Luka Jovic and as per reports going on in the media, the forward, who has several offers on the table, is prepared to agree a move to Man United.
According to The Star, the Red Devils are in advanced talks to sign the Serbian striker on loan, they would pay his salary and want option to make the deal permanent as well.
The renowned British outlet have mentioned that the 22-year-old’s representative has told Real Madrid that the player wants to sign for the Old Trafford outfit, who are aware of his wish to join them.
In the season before last, Jovic started 25 Bundesliga fixtures for Frankfurt and directly contributed in 23 goals (17 goals and 6 assists).
Unfortunately, he had an injury hit campaign with the Los Blancos last term and even Zidane mostly kept him out of the starting lineup.
In all competitions, the 7-capped international only started 8 games in all competitions for the Spanish giants.
The Bernabeu outfit splashed £55million to sign Luka Jovic and reports this summer (Sport via Paisley Gates) have suggested that Real Madrid value him at minimum 50 million euros (£46million), which in today’s market is not really high.
In my opinion, United should move in with a cash offer to try to sign him on permanent basis now. Solskjaer does not have a proven quality out and out striker and without one, there is little chance that we can challenge the likes of Liverpool and Man City.
Robin van Persie was the last center forward to score more than 20 league goals for us and that happened seven years ago. Since then, no one has achieved the feat at Old Trafford and since then, we have not won the PL title.
