Manchester United only scored 57 goals in the Premier League last term. On the other hand, the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool found the net 99 and 94 times respectively.
The Red Devils heavily relied on 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo and they need to improve the offense in the summer transfer window.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then Spanish international, Marco Asensio, is being pressed to seal a move to Manchester United from Real Madrid.
According to Marcos Benito of El ChiringuitoTV, super-agent, Jorge Mendes, wants the 26-year-old playmaker to sign for the Old Trafford outfit in the summer transfer window.
Apart from Copa Del Rey, Asensio has won every major prize with Real Madrid including three Champions League titles. However, he has never been able to start regularly for the Spanish giants.
Last term, the La Roja star only started 2 games in their European Cup-winning campaign. As far as the La Liga is concerned, he mostly warmed the bench and started just 19 games.
It must be remembered that Spain did not select him for the European Championships. The 26-capped star needs to play regular first-team football to increase his chances of featuring in this year’s World Cup.
Asensio can effectively play on either flank and in even in the No.10 role if needed. His current contract with the Los Blancos will expire next year and reports suggest that he is valued (Sport) at around 60 million euros (£51.2million).
In your opinion, should Man United move in to sign the Spaniard?
