£70million star willing to secure Manchester United move

Manchester United are interested in luring Crystal Palace right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and if reports in the media are anything to go by then the England international is willing to move to Old Trafford.

Few days back, Sky Sports News reported that the Red Devils made an offer of £40million for the defender but it was rejected by the Eagles.

On June 12th, The Sun claimed that the 21-year-old star has told Crystal Palace that he wants his dream move to Manchester United.

Transfer: Done – Man Utd agree £35million deals to secure signing

Last night, Sky Sports News came up with a similar story and claimed that Wan-Bissaka favours a move to the Red Devils but the Eagles would not consider an offer of less than £50million for their prized asset.

Also, Sky reporter Kaveh Solhekol tweeted about where the fullback wants to go and he mentioned that now, the London based club value him at up to £70million.

Since the retirement of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson, Valencia and Young, who started their careers playing in the attacking third, have mainly played in the full-back positions at Old Trafford.

The 20-time English champions have not even come close to winning the title since they last won it in 2013 and Solskjaer needs to think about the future.

In such a scenario, our two veteran stars, who will turn 34 soon, need to be offloaded. In the left fullback position, Shaw has finally established his position in the starting XI and he deservedly won the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year last term.

Now, United need a consistent defender for the right back position and Wan-Bissaka, who was exceptional at the back for Palace (stats via The Sun), would strengthen United’s shaky back-line that regularly leaked goals in the last campaign.

  1. As a recent Crystal Palace fan, this year and last, I find AWB to be quite the even tempered player. He is coachable and loyal. Compared to Zaha, he is a coach’s dream. Best wishes to him.
