Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Last night, we covered a report (via Mundo Deportivo) claiming that Manchester United are intent on securing the signature of Kieran Trippier, to amplify the quality of their defense.

renowned journalist in the form of Dean Jones believes that the Red Devils will be able to get the deal over the line before the transfer deadline ends this month.

Transfer: From Argentina – Man Utd would pay £34.2million to sign star

AS per the EuroSport reporter, the England international believes he will agree a new deal to sign for Man Utd once Atletico, who are in the hunt to sign a right back, have found his replacement.

Jones told The Football Terrace:

“I honestly think this deal will be done. Trippier is confident that Atletico Madrid are working on finding a replacement for him and as soon as they are far enough down the road that that’s been clinched he should be able to negotiate with United. So it’s just about patience really.”

Lately, reports have suggested (Ole) that the Rojiblancos are looking to sign Argentine international and River Plate right back, Gonzalo Montiel, to replace the Three Lions defender at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The £78,000-a-week star (The Express) won the Spanish title last season and reached the final of the Euro 2020. Trippier’s family wants him to move back to England but Diego Simeone will only sell the club’s asset if he receives a substantial offer i.e. €40million (MD).
