Gareth Bale could be set for a move to United this Summer according to the latest reports as his dream move to Real Madrid continues to suffer problems. Despite a brace of goals for Los Blancos on Sunday Bale is enjoying a tumultous relationship with the Madrid faithful and seems to be at odds with star player Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former United winger acted with anger at Bale’s opener against Levante at the weekend after he’d been denied by the keeper and one can only imagine his reaction when he learned the second goal, which Ronaldo thought was his had actually deflected off the Welsh winger.
Bale celebrated his goal by cupping his ears to the Bernabeu crowd who’ve bizarrely been booing him at times for a run of eight games without a goal and not adhering to the policy of “give it to Ronaldo at every opportunity” which seems to be compulsory for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
It appears the former Spurs man may be willing to move away from where he’s under-appreciated as the Metro notes:
Gareth Bale is reportedly ready to accept a move to Manchester United at the end of the season.
Bale, who has been linked with United for months, is said to be growing unhappy with life at Madrid – with a number of fans turning on him.
United are keen to make him a marquee summer signing, and now reports say Bale is now ready to accept a switch to Old Trafford.
It would all depend on United offering a giant salary, with Bale believed to want about £300,000-a-week, but the deal is on the cards.
Bale is exactly the type of player that United need to really push on and seriously challenge for the title next season. Much may depend on whether the Reds can make the Champions League, but as this Summer has shown, money shouldn’t be too much of an problem.
