The representative of Anthony Martial has refused to confirm whether the Frenchman would stay put at Manchester United beyond the summer. The France international has enjoyed his best season with United this season, yet his future remains a topic of a speculation.

In an exclusive with IlBianconero, agent Philippe Lamboley refuted suggestions that there have been discussions with Juventus over his client’s future, but he was still unsure whether Martial would remain at United next term, he said: “Will he stay in Manchester in the summer? I’m sorry, but at the moment I cannot say anything else about it.”

Martial has contributed an impressive tally of 11 goals and 10 assists across all competitions this term, but his future has remained in doubt amid Mourinho’s reluctance to start him regularly. Martial has only started in 16 of his 16 Premier League appearances this term, and he has found himself, more so, after the winter arrival of Alexis Sanchez.

Marcus Rashford’s presence has also seen him share the position on the right side of the attack in recent months, and it will be interesting to see how the club solve his contract situation. Martial is currently tied to United until 2019 with the option of an additional 12 months, but he is reluctant to prolong the deal any further unless he receives assurances of starting on a regular basis.
