With agreement reportedly in place, major Manchester United transfer hinges on agent’s meeting

Ivan Perisic Inter Milan

According to Italian outlet Tuttosport (as reported by Sport Witness), the transfer of Ivan Perisic to Manchester United could hinge on his agent’s meeting with Inter Milan.

Manchester United have been pursuing the services of Ivan Perisic all summer long and there have recently been reports emerging out of Italy that the Croatian international already has agreed personal terms with the Red Devils in a contract worth £5.3million per year.

However, United have not yet agreed to match Inter’s asking price of around £48million for Perisic and as a result, the Italian giants are said to be losing their patience.

Now in a further update by Tuttosport, claims have been made that Perisic’s agent, Fali Ramadani, will be holding talks with the Inter chiefs regarding the future of his client and it is believed that he will be pushing for a transfer for the 28-year-old who wants to join United.

It a move is not possible though, it has been claimed that Ramadani will request Inter to hand Perisic a new contract on the same level to what United have offered the player (£5.3million per year).

It will certainly be interesting to follow how the meeting turns out and United will surely be monitoring any possible update very closely.
