According to the Independent, Ajax could agree a deal with Manchester United for defender Daley Blind. The 28-year-old has struggled for form and playing time under Jose Mourinho and could be moved on from Old Trafford as a result.
Ajax are very interested in bringing Blind back to the Johan Cruijff Arena, but a move may depend on whether or not they sign Boca Juniors defender Lisandro Magallan. If the Dutch Eredivisie outfit fail to procure the signature of the centre-back, Blind could become their primary target.
He should be attainable too. The Dutch international has made 141 appearances in all competitions for United since his move in 2014 but has fallen out of favour in the last 12 months due to stiff competition for a starting place.
Blind made just seven Premier League appearances last season, finding himself behind the likes of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly at times. He has only one year remaining on his existing deal and is unlikely to extend his stay next summer.
As a result, United will look to cash in on a player not commanding a starting place, while Blind could be open to returning to Ajax.
