Player has ‘an agreement with Manchester United’ – £21.6m-£25.9m will seal signing – Report

Old-Trafford

Another day, another story on the future of Sofyan Amrabat, who could end up joining Manchester United this summer.

As per today’s version of Corriere dello Sport (news image provided below), Fiorentina have to solve the midfield problem by resolving the situation of the Moroccan international.

The Rome based media outlet have mentioned that without ‘accelerations and decisive offers’, the Viola will not sell the Atlas Lions star.

CorSport claim Amrabat already has ‘an agreement with Manchester United’.

However, the Old Trafford club have not made an official offer to match Fiorentina’s asking price of £21.6m-£25.9m (25-30 million euros).

The Red Devils have already paid huge sums to hire the services of Mason Mount from Chelsea, Andre Onana from Inter Milan and Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.

So, the above mentioned fee for Amrabat, who was arguably the best midfielder at the FIFA World Cup and is in his peak years, should be considered as a bargain.

If the move is completed, the former Utrecht player will reunite with Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford and be the third player from the Serie A to join us in this summer transfer window.

We need a solid play breaker to cover for Casemiro as the likes of Fred and McTominay have not been good enough for years.

In your opinion, should Man Utd bid around £21.6m-£25.9m to sign Amrabat?
