Manchester United supporters were disappointed by the showing of Paul Pogba during Friday’s 1-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.
The Frenchman had been in a good run of form of late and this earned him his sixth straight appearance for the Red Devils in his preferred 4-3-3 formation.
However, his performance was far off from those in recent times and the fans were clearly frustrated with the lack of consistency shown from the midfielder.
Paul Pogba is simply not consistent.
One game he gives you a 10/10, next game he gives 2/10 & another game is 5/10.And the Frenchman always makes life difficult for himself.
Oya do simple pass he will start foolish leg-over and dribbles.
Very annoying.

Think of a great #MUFC midfielder… Robson, Keane, Scholes etc. They’d have the odd poor game but never amble through a game like Pogba is. Pogba incredibly gifted but appears to lack the necessary heart and desire to maximise his vast potential. Nowhere near a top midfielder.

Losing any remaining patience with Pogba. Too often he's an ineffectual show pony when he should be bossing games like this.

Paul Pogba is the midfield version of Mario Balotelli.

Pogba has enjoyed a mixed campaign in terms of his contributions this term and he has had the tendency to fail to show up in a couple of games against lower-half opposition, in particular.
Nevertheless, the Frenchman has the potential to put up match-defining performances and the fans will be hoping that he can find the consistency to propel United to greater heights.
Unlike other first players like Rashford and Martial, Pogba has made more of a meaningful impact in central midfield since April and this should help him keep his spot for the FA Cup final this month.
