Manchester United have so far won both their fixtures under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the club should trust him to deal with the transfers in January.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then Andreas Pereira is linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
According to UOL Esporte, the Brazilian youngster is looking to get more game time after the departure of Jose Mourinho and if that does not happen, then he will consider a move to Arsenal, who have made an ‘official proposal’ to snatch him from the Red Devils. West Ham and Everton have made offers for him as well.
Pereira made his debut for the senior national team back in September and as per UOL Esporte, he wants to play more often to get an opportunity to return to the Selecao squad.
Last season, the 22-year-old versatile midfielder made 23 appearances in the La Liga (on loan), started 12 games and directly contributed in 5 goals.
After returning to Old Trafford, Mourinho opted to start Pereira in the opening PL game against Leicester City and he went on to make two more starts before the departure of the Portuguese manager.
United have veterans like Matic and Fellaini in the midfield. Moreover, Herrera has not proved to be good enough and therefore, Pereira, who can play in multiple midfield positions, is the future of the club and should get regular game time sooner rather than later.
In the last two Premier League outings, Solsjkaer has opted to give some minutes to youngsters like Angel Gomes and Andreas Pereira. Under his guidance, our talented starlets could excel and therefore, Pereira should wait for his chance.
If he does end up leaving to Arsenal then United must press to sign Ramsey from the Gunners. The Welsh international will be out of contract in 6 months.
