According to the Daily Record, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has held talks with Paris Saint-Germain.
The French international’s agent Mino Raiola has been offering him out to a number of clubs ahead of a potential summer move – Manchester City and Real Madrid – which could mean United’s club-record signing is plying his trade elsewhere in the coming months.
Signed from Juventus in 2016, four years after leaving United to join the Old Lady, Pogba hasn’t had the best homecoming at Old Trafford. The 25-year-old has been inconsistent and heavily criticised by manager Jose Mourinho.
As a result of his struggles back in England, Paris Saint-Germain are keen to bring him to the French capital this summer and have spoken to Pogba’s representatives. Real are also interested in the midfielder, having tried to sign him back in 2016 before pulling out of the deal.
Mourinho has recently stated his belief that Pogba will stay at United this summer, but he won’t be happy with how his return to England has gone.
The £200k-per-week star has won the Europa League and League Cup from two seasons at Old Trafford, having previously won four consecutive Serie A crowns, two Coppa Italias and reached a Champions League final with Juve.
PSG and Real’s interest is unlikely to waver this summer, but time will tell if Pogba does move on.
