Manchester United encouraged after seeing Scott McTominay’s decent display during the midweek 2-0 Carabao Cup victory over Swansea City.
With Manchester United currently facing an injury crisis in midfield, young Scott McTominay was handed a start during the Red Devils’ Carabao Cup Round of 16 clash against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night.
The occasion would surely have been a special one of McTominay as the match was his first ever competitive start for Manchester United and it has to be said that the youngster put in an encouraging performance during the encounter.
McTominay was solid if unspectacular throughout the match and Manchester United fans have taken to social media to praise the 20-year-old for his mature display on the night.

Utd fans are fussy and irritating. McTominay is not a world beater but he put in an excellent performance and deserves praise for that #MUFC
