It is worth mentioning here that Ruben Amorim also has a track record of developing youngsters and making them stars and this should definitely add to their decision-making.
Now, it has emerged, as per today’s edition of MEN that Man Utd are close to signing Arsenal youngster Ayden Heaven, who has rejected a contract from the Gunners and is set to make the switch to Manchester.
TBR Football had mentioned that Liverpool are also interested in signing the 2006-born youngster but it looks like the Red Devils have beaten their arch rivals in this pursuit. It is always sweet when we get one over the Merseyside club, both on and off the pitch.
Fabrizio Romano has given his trademark ‘Here we go’ on this transfer, which is usually understood to be the unofficial confirmation that a transfer is definitely happening, just before the club actually makes it official.

This is the second youngster that the Manchester-based club are poaching from under Arsenal’s noses in less than six months, having already signed the extremely talented Chido Obi-Martin from the Gunners earlier this season. Heaven is said to be considered in the first-team picture by Ruben Amorim.
A left-footed central defender who can play in one of the three central defensive roles in Amorim’s system, Heaven can also play as a left-back if required.
If he is considered in the first-team picture, it is only a matter of time before he makes his first team debut for Manchester United and let’s wait and see how it plays out.
