David de Gea was Man United’s best player this afternoon as the Red Devils held Liverpool to a scoreless draw at Anfield.
The goalkeeper had a terrific save in the 35th minute as he denied Joel Matip from five yards with a fantastic intervention and later kept his cool in the second-half, helping United to snatch a draw in the North-West Derby.
Once again, the Spaniard was the most deserving player that Man United haven’t conceded a goal and their fans heaped praise on the world-class keeper:

Even Matip acknowledged the importance of De Gea’s heroics after the match:
Matip on his big chance in the first half: "It was a great save from De Gea. We had some great opportunities that we had to score."

Man United’s legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel didn’t hide his delight with De Gea’s performance as well:

All in all, David de Gea continues to shine on the goal and he kept his net intact in seven out of eight Premier League games so far, and even when his teammates are not playing well, the Spaniard remains the key to the Red Devils success.
