Manchester United fans are left frustrated with Romelu Lukaku’s inability to score important goals following the Red Devils’ defeat against Basel.
Manchester United went down to a shock 1-0 defeat against Basel at Switzerland on Wednesday night and one of the many below-par performers for the Red Devils during the encounter was striker Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku did not offer much of a goal threat throughout the clash and it was no surprise to see the striker failing to find the back of the net on the night.
Manchester United fans have overall been impressed with Lukaku this season but following the clash against Basel, many expressed concern at the striker’s inability to create chances on his own as well as his struggles to score significant goals.
Lukakus a pure goalscorer. Very good finisher but cant create anything for himself, so when we have Lingard, Darmian and Blind on the flanks what do you genuinely expect from Lukaku lol

Lukaku misses too many key chances
Not clinical enough to be a ManUtd player, Everton was more his level
If we had a Morata or an Aguero we would top of the league

If Lukaku alone writes an exam, in grading he still won’t score first

Lukaku hasn’t scored a genuine one one on one this season. Seems to hit the keeper everytime.
