According to German outlet Bild, Manchester United could agree a £31m deal with Bayern Munich for Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal. The 31-year-old has been linked with United for a long time, but it does appear manager Jose Mourinho is keen to strengthen his side with industry and commitment in the middle of the park.
Vidal certainly offers that and much more, but United could be beaten to his signature by Chelsea. Bild say the Blues are also keen on bringing the Chilean international to Stamford Bridge to join Jorginho in a star-studded midfield. One major factor threatens to halt both sides in their tracks, however – how much Bayern actually want to sell Vidal.
The combative central midfielder remains a key player in the squad and one they’re yet to replace. Why the Bundesliga champions would be so open to selling Vidal without signing somebody in his place remains to be seen. If the German giants make movements to strengthen their options in the engine room, Vidal may be a casualty this summer. There’s a lot that needs to happen before the 31-year-old will be coming to the Premier League, however.
WOODWARD IS WAITING 4 UR GREENLIGHT JOSE JIVE HIM UR GREEN LIGHT PLS WILL NEED SANDRO PLS
Man Utd could agree £31m deal for Bayern midfielder, Jose wants industry and commitment. He is not going to get it from him at his age all he will get is a money grabbing player who is being discarded by Bayern because is usefulness is over. This type of business is demoralising to youth players working hard to get noticed and be given a chance.
