Club desperate for 31-year-old to join Manchester United – Report

Gareth Bale Real Madrid

A week back, Marca covered a story claiming that Real Madrid are hoping for Man United to make a move to sign Gareth Bale in the summer transfer window.

As per the latest updates coming from Spain, the La Liga club are desperate for the Welsh international to join Manchester United because they want to get rid of his wages.

Transfer: Man United would be ready to move to sign £185million forward next year – Face competition

Yesterday, Sport published a story with a headline stating – Real Madrid pray to Man United to sign Bale.

The former Tottenham attacker is open to leaving the club and Zidane and Florentino Perez are more than happy to sell him

The Spanish source have mentioned that Man United are finding it hard to secure the services of Jadon Sancho and therefore, they could hire Bale as an alternative.

Sport claim that the 31-year-old winger earns 15 million euros annually (£265,000-a-week) and would not take a pay cut to stay with the Los Blancos, who just want to get rid of him once and for all.

The two time PFA Player of the Year has won every major title with the Spanish giants but last season, the Welshman spent majority of the time outside the starting XI because Zidane preferred the likes Rodrygo, Vinicius, Hazard and even Vazquez ahead of him.

On his day, Gareth Bale can single-handedly win games, he is a proven PL star, who is available for just 25 million euros (Mundo Deportivo). In your view, should Manchester United look to rescue him from Real Madrid?

  1. Hello, united should make up their minds. I want to state that the sport director should apply technics, logical, and audible way in dealing with crutial issue. United board lack business mind set that seem to be a problem. United repeatedly say they don.t want to repeat mistakes but they are creating blunders. United fears just expose them to be weak and bvb will capitalize on that. To achieve an aim, beat your fears first. Fear is a virus and leads to complete downfall. Bvb just make a golden sign to united. The game of winner is give and take. United time is money

  2. Real Madrid are just merciless; anyway MUFC actually don’t need to go for Bale now, he’s 31 and prone to injuries too so I feel mufc should just put their trust upon Greenwood and James on the right flank; lastly, deal for Sancho should be terminated

  3. It’s interesting, in today’s head line how united fans react to bale’s issue, also the united interest in signing sancho this summer. Liverpool, real madrid are highly waiting for golden chance to strike and it can be dangerous if united delay. I urge the board to act fast while it’s still fresh. Instead of wondering around the present situation united should adopt a plan b, since united fans say no to bale plus some alternatives just do this mathematics. Man u were on the verge to offer €90m for a player as sancho’s alternative, and bale’s €18m. United need to sum up this two then you will get €108m, then invite dotmond for dinner. Just know delay is dangerous no time to check time.
