If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United are linked with Brazilian international Vinicius Junior.
According to El Desmarque, Real Madrid are prepared to offer 50 million (£42million) euros and their Samba attacker to Manchester United in order to bring Paul Pogba to the Bernabeu.
Transfer: Report – £50million+ playmaker could finally secure Man United move
The Spanish outlet have stated that the 19-year-old winger likes Man Utd, who would be willing to lose their record signing to lure the youngster. It is further mentioned that the Red Devils are expected the to ask for 100 million euros and Vinicius to let Pogba leave.
Due to heavy competition, the 19-year-old starlet has not been able to start regular for the Los Blancos. Last season, he only started 9 league game and in the current campaign, so far, he has only started 4 league games.
Therefore, the teenage sensation should move away from the Spanish giants for regular first team football.
At Old Trafford, United do lack depth in the wide attacking positions and in such a scenario, a speedy winger like Vinicius, who can effectively play on either flank, would be a quality addition. Last term, he started 20 games in all competitions for Real and directly contributed in 16 goals.
As far as Pogba is concerned, on his day, the French international is world class but for us, the midfielder has never been consistent and this season, he has mostly been on the treatment table.
Therefore, I would not mind if he is allowed to leave but Vinicuis would not be his direct replacement. If the Les Bleus star departs then Man Utd should sign a proven quality midfielder to replace him.
In your view, should United let Pogba leave in order to lure Vinicius Junior?
Yes let him go 100mil should be used to add a dissent midfielder..the deal is great since we lack of option in attack when it comes to injury prone
While I am a Pogba fan, he hasn’t done it for us because we haven’t got the talent in midfield to carry him. So if he wants to go, for the right price, adiós amigo. But your headline says £42 million pound and the article quotes E100 million euros. Big difference. I would take E100 million euros and a decent player if that money was spent on atleast two midfielders of decent quality. Otherwise Paul needs to get fit and start earning his wages
Yes Paul does not seem to be interested to remain at Manu he should be let go better to have a man commited to the job called for we should get some young players who are willing to give their all.
100 million pounds plus vinicius is a good bargain. We can get a good replacement with the cash and have balance. Plus vinicius addition. Its a good deal.
