It looks to be the end of an (albeit brief) era at Old Trafford with Robin Van Persie set to leave the club.
The striker was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2012 and fired United to title in 2013, but since then it’s been all downhill.
Injuries and poor form have derailed the former Arsenal star’s United career, and earlier this week he spoke of perhaps needing to leave in order to play weekly.
And it appears Lazio are willing to offer him the chance to play weekly, as they are lining up a €15m bid to bring the Dutch striker to Serie A.
Van Persie came close to joining Serie A in 2012 when United pipped Juve to his signature, but 3 years later it appears that he will finally make the switch, with Lazio hoping that he will replace German legend Miroslav Klose.
32 in August and with just a year left on his deal, the £11 fee being touted would represent good business for United who paid £24m for him.
