Last weekend, Man United returned to winning ways in the Barclays Premier League by beating Fulham at Old Trafford.
However, last night, the Red Devils were defeated by Valencia in their final Champions League group game. They have qualified for the KO stages of the competition but could have topped the group with three points as Juve lost their game against Young Boys.
Looking at their weaknesses this season, with just a goal difference of +2 after 16 league games, Mourinho has to strengthen the defensive setup of the team.
Yesterday, UOL Esporte reported that Mourinho has made contact and Manchester United are firmly in the battle to sign Porto center half Eder Militao.
As per UOL Esporte, Mourinho is aiming to strengthen his team in the upcoming winter transfer window but in order to sign the 20-year-old South American defender, an offer of around £45million woluld have to be made.
The Primeira Liga club are currently on top of the league with the best offensive and defensive record. In addition, they have also topped their Champions League group and Militao has consistently been solid at the back for them.
He is definitely inexperienced at the moment and fitting in quickly in the Premier League is never easy.
Mourinho’s current crop of central defenders have badly disappointed this season and he needs a dominant leader to solve the conundrum. Right now, I think Militao perhaps does not fit the bill but the former Porto boss might think differently.
Sell out those old players and loan young players that still get time to play, so we can buy new players, always try and use Herera, mata, sanchet to start together if you relay want us to win any game because these players pattern of football are thesame, stop using fast players with slow players it won’t work
