Transfer: Man Utd have agreed £39million terms with “top-class” star – Report
According to Nicolo Schira, the Portuguese international will leave the Primeira Liga club and move to Man United after the Portuguese Super Cup aka Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira.
The renowned La Gazzetta Dello Sport journalist has further stated that a contract worth 6 million euros (£5.5million) plus bonuses is ready for Fernandes at Old Trafford.
Sporting CP won both the domestic cup competitions in the last campaign under the captaincy of the 24-year-old attacking midfielder, who directly contributed in 50 goals in all competitions.
As far as the Super Cup is concerned, The Lions will face Portuguese champions Benfica and the game will kick-off in less than 45 minutes. So, if Schira’s claim is to be believed then Fernandes’ move to United should be sealed very soon.
