Real Madrid Superstar ‘displeased’ with latest Jose Mourinho statements

According to reports carried out by the Daily Star, claims have been made that Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is unhappy with his former manager Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United splashed around £40million to acquire the services of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea this summer and following his arrival to Old Trafford, the 29-year-old has been lavished with praise by manager Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese boss has made Matic a key figure of his starting lineup so far this season and recently even hailed him as the best player he has ever worked with in his illustrious managerial career.

The Manchester United manager had said last week about the Serbian international midfielder, “Matic, I cannot say that I had better guys than him in my career.”

Mourinho’s comments would surely have flattered Matic but it seems to have irritated his former player in Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo – if reports from the Daily Star are to be believed.

Mourinho managed Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernabeu for around three seasons and it has allegedly been claimed that the Portuguese superstar took offence to his ex-manager’s comments about Matic being the best player he has worked with.

Ronaldo did endure a bit of a fractured relationship with Mourinho at Madrid and it seems very unlikely that the 32-year-old is paying so much close attention to the Manchester United manager’s comments as the report claims.
