Transfer: Man United would like to launch huge offer to sign £90million star – Face competition
A number of managers are linked with the Old Trafford job and one of them is Ajax boss Erik Ten Hag. According to Manchester Evening News, the Dutch boss could sign four key players for the Red Devils if he replaces Ole at the club. Our focus is on Matthijs de Ligt.
MEN claim that the Netherlands international could leave Italian giants Juventus and reports suggest that his agent, Mino Raiola is trying to take him away from Serie A.
The 22-year-old rose to fame at Ajax under the management of Ten Hag. The youngster was the captain of the side that won the domestic double and reached the final of the UEFA Champions League in the 2018-19 campaign.
This season, the £245,000-a-week star (The Sun) has regularly started for the Old Lady, who have been poor in the league but have won all their games in the Champions League, even against reigning champions Chelsea.
The 31-capped international has the quality and experience to improve the backline at Old Trafford. However, having splashed a lot of cash to strengthen the central defense (Maguire, Varane), do you think Man Utd should move in to sign Matthijs de Ligt?
absolutely,we should get rid of both harry and victor. they are horrible.
Why what would be the point, yes De Ligt would improve our choice of centre backs but is this really the problem? No it’s not. It’s our midfield. They offer zero cover to our defenders, zero protection. Once the opposition get into midfield they have a free run at our backs who have received little or no help from our forwards or midfielders. We need to strengthen our defensive midfield and at right back before bringing in more centre back option
