The Hitch Holding Up Pedro’s Move To Man United

Manchester United and Barcelona are at odds as to when a deal for forward Pedro will be complete.

With Angel Di Maria seemingly on his way to PSG, Manchester United have targeted Pedro as his replacement and are willing to activate his €30m release clause.

Pedro is also keen on the move but it is a case of when the deal takes place. United want Pedro in immediately if Di Maria leaves, and with the Argentine pulling a no show, it seems this deal could take place imminently.

United want Pedro in before their Premier League opener against Tottenham on August 8th, but Barcelona are keen to hold on to Pedro until after the Uefa Super Cup according to reports in Spain.

El Pais claim Barcelona are showing less flexibility in getting the deal done, putting the move in doubt but you would believe that a paltry 3 days would not throw this deal off.
