According to The Athletic, United can end the loan spell in the winter transfer window if they want but during the period, they will cover his entire wages.
The 26-year-old’s contract with the north London club is until 2025 and he has been earning a salary of around £53,000 a week.
So, Man Utd will be paying Reguilon £53,000 a week for covering the left back position in the absence of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
After completing the move, the La Roja defender stated:
“I know that I can contribute to Manchester United this season; I am ready to fight for this group and show everyone my qualities.”
Old Trafford boss, Erik ten Hag, has confirmed that Reguilon is available for the all important Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday.
Last weekend, versus Nottingham Forest, Portuguese international, Diogo Dalot, a natural right back, featured in the left back role.
It will be intriguing to see whether or not Reguilon will start vs the Gunners. It must be remembered that thus far, he has not featured at all in the current campaign.
