The South American source have mentioned that the 30-year-old star is set to agree terms of a three year contract to secure Man Utd exit in the winter transfer window.

Rojo joined the Old Trafford outfit when Louis van Gaal was in charge of the club. Unfortunately, he has been highly injury prone over the years and it is time for Solskjaer to get rid of him.

Last season, the La Albiceleste defender only featured in 9 senior games for Man Utd and as far as this season is concerned, he has mostly spent time on the treatment table and is yet to appear for the first team under the management of the Norwegian boss.

The former Sporting CP player was a key member of the Argentine national team squad that reached the final of the World Cup back in 2014. However, for us, he has never been consistent due to regular injury problems.

For now, we have central defenders like Maguire, Lindelof, Bailly and Tuanzebe in the squad and Rojo is not really required.

The 61-capped international’s current deal with Man Utd will expire in the summer and he earns (The Sun) around £80,000-a-week. TyC Sports claim that Boca Juniors would like the player to terminate his contract with the PL giants so that he can immediately join them.
