We have seen so many reports linking Jack Grealish with a move to Manchester United. Now, if the English attacker does not end up joining us then the Old Trafford faithful might be very disappointed.
Two days back, we covered a story (via The Star) claiming that the Red Devils are ready to bid more than £50million to secure the signature of the 24-year-old star.
Transfer: Man United prepare £200,000-a-week offer to secure £70million signing
As per recent claims, Man Utd are close to signing the Aston Villa man. According to Euro Sport’s journalist, Manu Lonjon, Man Utd are concluding the signing of the attacking midfielder.
The French journalist has not talked about any valuation or fee, so, we have taken a look at various media outlets, who have reported different figures.
Earlier this month, The Evening Standard reported that United hope to secure his signing for a fee of £60million.
Last month, Mirror Sport claimed that the player was on course to move to Old Trafford for a price of £70million. The same valuation was reported by The Sun exclusively in the month of February.
On the other hand, two months back, The Athletic claimed that Solskjaer is determined to sign Grealish, who is valued at £80million.
Jack Grealish has been Aston Villa’s best player this season under the management of Dean Smith. He was the top scorer and also the top assist provider this season before COVID-19 pandemic arrived on the scene to stop football.
As a United supporter, it will be intriguing to see the amount that that club would pay to lure the versatile playmaker. Let’s hope we are not ripped off. More importantly, the fans would like the signing to be sealed as soon as possible to get rid of all the speculations and rumours.
Grealish would be a fantastic addition to Manchester United. Good luck signing him, though
Jack is very good but £80m is too much to buy him
I would rather impose 80m on wolves striker Raul or Saul Niguez but not on Grealish is not worth it, maybe 50m
Buy him with any amount of money. Rebuild is rebuild and you only get the results if you don’t hesitate on spending!
He is good but the amount should be in between £50m and £60m
His pricetag is overrated but I think if eventually they(Aston villa) get relegated??
Then maybe he might come cheaper than tha
