Alex Telles Brazil

As per reports going on in the media, Manchester United are getting closer and closer to hiring the services of Alex Telles. The entire worth of the signing could be £45.8million.

According to The Star, Man Utd are close to securing a cut-price deal to sign the Brazilian international for a fee of £25million.

Transfer: Manchester United considered signing of £80million player – Report

The renowned British source have stated that the Red Devils are willing to agree a contract that will make the player earn £80,000-a-week.

RMC Sport‘s Mohamed Bouhafsi has already confirmed that the player has agreed a five year deal with the Old Trafford outfit, therefore, the entire worth of the contract could be £20.8million.

Telles has won every major domestic prize with the Primeira Liga giants, who have not been able to agree a new contract with the South American left back.

He will be out of contract in less than 10 months and is looking for a new adventure.

The Star claim that the 27-year-old star is eager to sign for Man Utd and has told the Liga Nos side that he wants to leave in the summer transfer window.

Despite being a defender, Telles was Porto’s second highest goal scorer in the last league campaign. He found the net 11 times, only one less than top scorer Moussa Marega, in the title winning season.

In the opening league fixture vs Braga this term, the former Galatasaray fullback scored two goals and provided an assist to be the Man of the Match against Braga.

Our first choice left back, Luke Shaw, has never been consistent at Old Trafford and he was terrible in the opening Premier League game vs Palace. After 6 years, I think it is time we hire a new and consistent left back and Alex Telles would be a quality addition.

  1. Hope it’s imminent and that OGS deploys central midfield and defence stability to get the best out of him.

He would create havoc with Rashford just inside him, going forwards.

  2. Man united will not win any trophy if Ed woodward is still there! so united’s bigest problem is woodward..united should get him out for a better result

  3. Another unfinished deal what a shame, and yet united fans so far have raised 75 million pounds sancho’s fund and the club has failed to sell and buy, the board are just loosers. This fans act is the greatest sacrifice, so the fans were right when they said the board lack the ability to land sancho in old traford.

  4. A club like Manchester United needs a world-class and a commanding left back, and Alex Telles has got the credentials. Ever since Patrice Evra’s exit, United have been vulnerable in that position. I pray that deal materializes.

  5. Telles is a good player and he is going to bring competition. But ole is blind he must buy a number 4 to replace awful Lindelof.
