Transfer: Favorites Man Utd willing to pay £4.4m-£5.3m wages to sign player – Report

According to talkSPORT, the Red Devils considered bringing Dean Henderson back from Nottingham Forest but they are now set to sign Butland from the Eagles.

The 29-year-old star’s current deal with Palace will expire in 6 months, therefore, United are looking to pay a very low fee to get his signing done this month.

The 20-time English champions lured Dubravka from the magpies in the summer transfer window.

The 33-year-old veteran made two appearances in the League Cup under the management of Dutch coach, Erik ten Hag, but has now returned to Tyneside.

Jack Butland, who earns around £35,000 a week, has not made a single appearance in the current campaign for Patrick Vieira’s side due to a fracture finger.

In fact, in the past three seasons, he has mainly warmed the bench and made just 18 appearances in all competitions for Crystal Palace.

The 9-capped international has got ample experience under his belt but do you think he is a good enough back-up goal keeper to push David De Gea?
